The Dunes Beach
Surfers will especially like the different spots in this area and the many clubs that allow you to learn during the summer to the most popular sport in the region. For beginners, the Dunes Beach seems to be the most suitable place. Very large, with more than 3 km of shoreline available and renowned for its waves, it is also supervised, allowing you to discover the art of surfing safely in an exceptional setting.
Windsurfing enthusiasts, catamaran, wave-ski or sail will be delighted to discover the Normandelière Beach. It also has the advantage of being close to the Dolphins beach club for children up to 14 years.

Families will be thrilled by La Parée Beach, ideal for swimming and located in the heart of the area of the same name, one of the liveliest with many shops. The beach is wide but you have to be careful of the tides because some areas are completely submerged at high tide.

Sauzaie Beach
The lovers of the untamed and peace and quiet will opt for Sauzaie Beach, perhaps the most exotic. Here, surfers from around the world meet and enjoy one of the best spots in the Vendée, an enlightened place at night between April and October for unforgettable sessions! North of this beach, there are some small hidden away coves

Le Petit Pont - the nudist area of Brétignolles sur Mer
Naturists are not forgotten since Brétignolles has one of the nicest nudist beaches of the Vendee. Nicknamed the Petit Pont Beach (it is in the area of Petit Pont, north of the resort on the edge of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie), the area is totally untamed. The dunes are well developed. The bravest can even walk to St Gilles Jaunay Beach (but naturism is not allowed) or the main beach of Saint Gilles Croix de Vie.
Brétignolles-sur-Mer also offers the opportunity for all to discover the beauty of its environment by organising boat trips or fishing sessions. If you are more adventurous, you may as well rent a boat and explore the isle of Yeu!
